Addie turned three on May 20th and since all the rest of our family has birthdays the same week she had two parties. The weekend before we celebrated with Nick's family and the next weekend we had a party for her and Nick at our house. She was so excited about her birthday this year and for three months told everyone that she wanted a sleeping bag, a soccer ball, a Christmas tree, and a wagon. Luckily she received three of those gifts I'll let you guess which one she didn't get.
That night she really wanted to sleep in her new sleeping bag, so we put it on her bed and she climbed in and went to sleep. A couple of hours later we heard a loud thump and went to check it out. Addie had fallen off her bed and was stuck in between the wall and her bed in her sleeping bag and was frantically trying to escape. Her sleeping bag was so slippery that she couldn't keep it on her bed. So we finally convinced her to unzip it and just leave it on top of her.

That's the perfect three year old cake - loaded with LOTS of candy. I'm sure Addie loved it!
