Not what I had in mind

This weekend we headed down to St. George so that Nick could do a half marathon. The drive down was scary with a lot of snow and a lot of cars off the side, but we made it after a little longer then normal drive. On Friday Nick woke up sick though really sick. He spent the day puking his guts out while the girls and I played and went swimming. By the evening he was feeling a little better and decided to try out the race the next day. As you can see by the picture he ran, finished, and finished with a time that I can only dream about. Yeah, he is still fast even after puking all day before the race. After that the trip went better and we even got a hike in although the weather was cold.

2 Months

The new camera has thankfully conceded to talk to our computer so we can finally post some new pictures of Rachel. She has definitely woken up in the past couple of weeks so now we get some ridiculously cute smiles and noises in addition to the typical newborn crying which makes everything that much more worth it. Anyway, she really is a cute kid as we are sure you will agree. That's it here, just a classic "Brag-by-pictures" post. Enjoy.

I liked the somewhat Italian appearance in this picture. Just say "How you doing?" in your head while looking at this picture. Apparently she has a cousin Guido who we were unaware of until recently.

Nothing to add here.

Threats

I keep meaning to put up pictures of Rachel because she is incredibly adorable, but I can't load the pictures from my new camera so just imagine the cutest baby you have ever seen and yep that looks just like her.
Addie's conversations have been cracking me up lately. She has taken to threats to try and get her way. The other day she told me, "Mom if you don't give me that candy I will never eat again." to which I answered, "OK". Just now she told me, "Mom if you don't let me color in my room I will never go in there again and then I can't get dressed so there.
She also informed us that Dad's chore was to spend lots of money and mine was to clean the toilets. I think I would like to request a change.
